Hi Folks,
 We had a great turnout and a great time at our Cars & Cigars auto show in January. We raised over $25,000 for the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit! As for the cars, a slew of Audis showed up along with old-school Mustangs and Porsches. Mercedes made its presence known and we even had a classic Lamborghini Countach in siviglia red. Thanks everyone for coming and for all the support for Hecho a Mano Cigar Lounge!

Featured Cigar of the Month: New World Dorado
We are excited to feature AJ Fernandez’ most recent cigar the Dorado. It’s from his New World line, the creation of which was a collaboration with his father, Ismael. The line’s name is a nod to the Europeans’ discovery of tobacco in the late 1400s. The Dorado itself was launched in July 2022 and the name references the tobacco farm from which it is sourced – the Dorado.
Although Esteli, Nicaragua is a region of primarily dark and ashy soil, this particular land which was acquired by AJ in 2017, has a rare but distinct light brown soil which produces a golden hue when compared to the rest of the region. It is at Dorado that the wrapper and the binder for this cigar are cultivated.
The Dorado features a full body flavor with balanced robust notes of espresso, cocoa, leather and roasted coffee and comes in four different vitolas shown here.
As with any cigar that we specifically feature, this cigar is a must try. Suggested pairings include a Guinness, coffee, double espresso or cappuccino.

Karen Berger Cigar Event – Friday, March 25, 2023 2pm – 6:30pm
Hugh O’ Donnell of Karen Berger – Don Kiki Cigars will be on premises as we promote one of the most popular brands we decided bring to Hecho a Mano Cigar Lounge. We are experiencing a rapid appreciation of Karen’s cigars because of her blend’s ability intrigue almost any palate. To entice a broader base, we will run specials all day complete with raffle prizes and drink specials.
Ladies’ Cigar Social – Friday, March 25, 2023 – 7pm – 8:30pm
 The much anticipated return of this women’s cigar social will be highlighted by a Zoom Call with Queen of Cigars, Ms. Karen Berger. We will again have a wine tasting and cigar pairing. But most importantly, attendees will become intimately informed by an ambassador of cigar manufacturing who has a steep pedigree in blending acquired in part from her late famous husband – Don Kiki Berger.
This event has limited attendance in order to ensure a fun group experience complete with charcuterie, wine sampling, Karen Berger cigars and door prizes. Call early to claim your ticket to this female-only event.
