Nicaraguan cigars? Few do it better than Perdomo, and their 20th Anniversary Sungrown is a prime example of that quality work. Every cigar is made with Cuban-seed long-fillers that are grown in Nicaragua’s black, volcanic soils. The wrappers are cedar-aged, then barrel-aged in old bourbon barrels for fourteen or more months before the cigar is rolled.
The initial draw is smooth and flavorful, bringing with it a hint of pepper and brown sugar. Notes of coffee and nutmeg roll over the palate, and linger with the cigar’s finish.
